UPDATE MARCH 11,2020
Dear Families
As we continue to navigate the information, risks and updates regarding the coronavirus, (COVID-19) we wanted to send an update on how our office and staff is continuing to keep our office clean and healthy. Last week we sent an email with basic health reminders and a temporary modified cancellation policy.  You can read that notice again below.
We are sharing information in this newsletter to involve you and enlist your help in combating this dynamic situation.    We understand that this is a constantly developing situation and our goal is to ensure safety and maintain privacy while keeping our therapy routines in place for your child.  Please keep us informed about the health of your child, your family and any exposure risk you may encounter. If you do not already have the direct contact information (email and phone number) stored on your communication device for your therapist, please make sure to create that contact today.

We will update you immediately and as often as necessary regarding the status of office or site visits for your child’s weekly sessions
LAST WEEK’S EMAIL AND WAITING ROOM NOTICE:
STOP THE SPREAD:
As this year’s cold and flu season is underway, we wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone that if you, your child, or any other children in the household are sick, please stay home! Both FUNdamentals and Building Blocks therapy have  24-hour cancellation policy, however we also make exceptions for those who become sick within 24 hours. Please contact your therapist, either by email or phone, at the first sign of illness to ensure you are not charged.
We also want to remind you that you, your child, or any other children should be fever free for 24 hours without the use of medicine for 24 hours prior to returning to therapy.
We have placed a “dirty bin” toy by the front office. please feel free to use at your discretion.

WHAT THE OFFICE IS DOING:
*Continuing with regular disinfecting protocol of washing/sanitizing hands and wiping tables/chairs in between clients
*Increased wiping of “commonly touched services” such as, waiting room chairs and tables, door handles, phones, computers
*Removal of waiting room toys
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
*Wash hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering the office
*Use our “dirty toy bin” for any toy that may have been in a child’s mouth (despite our removal of waiting room toys, they sometimes creep back!)
*Be mindful of your and your child’s health (siblings too!) and please don’t bring sick children into the office.
*Use your elbow to cover your cough and throw away any used tissues.
